About me

I lived most of my earlier years in the desert of New Mexico. After high school, I joined the Army as a combat medic. There, I served one tour in Iraq with the 6-1 Cavalry in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation New Dawn. Post-military, I pursued higher education at Oregon State University, earning a degree in biology followed by a Masters in environmental sciences.

In 2020, my passion for conservation led me into the pool industry. This interest was sparked by my family's experience with a pool in a drought-stricken area, highlighting the need for water conservation. I was driven to create a business that not only addresses water waste but also innovates solutions for pool maintenance in challenging environments. To realize this, I established my own company, focusing on training professionals to meet the diverse needs of both expansive national corporations and small, local businesses with limited staff.

I'm Casey Brooks, a seasoned trainer and lead writer with over a decade dedicated to technical writing. My journey started after earning a degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Central Florida, where I then joined Citrix Systems as a technical writer.

My career at Citrix involved crafting user manuals, online help systems, and training materials, where I honed my ability to distill complex tech jargon into accessible documentation. This skill set led to my advancement into lead writer and trainer roles, where I spearheaded training sessions for new hires and workshops to improve team comprehension of technical documentation. My commitment drives me to innovate training and documentation continually, ensuring clear communication across all levels.
